Electronic Precision Specialties, Inc. can plate your parts with pure tin or one of many available tin/lead alloys.

Tin plating can range from matte gray to full bright. The deposits are ductile with relatively low contact resistance. Tin plated deposits provide exceptional solderability and good corrosion resistance. Tin is used to prevent galling or seizing and facilitates the joining of metals products.

Tin/Lead alloy plating can range from 50% tin to 95% tin. Changes to the alloy content of metals will affect the melting point. Like tin plating, the color can range from matte gray to full bright. Used commonly to prevent the growth of whiskers, tin/lead performs exceptionally when joining metals, providing a strong reliable bond. Tin/lead plating performs similar to tin with regards to contact resistance and corrosion resistance while out performing tin during soldering operations.
